Introductory Thoughts


The quote from Glickman in the Introduction was "The theory of professional empowerment is that when given collective responsibility to make educational decisions in an information-rich environment, educators will work harder and smarter on behalf of their clients: students and parents."  Let's hear comments on "professional empowerment" and "collective responsibility".  What are your perceptions of what these terms mean and what are attitudes toward them?

Welcome to the How to Plan & Implement a Peer Coaching Program Blog

In the next few weeks we will be discussing the main points of the book How to Plan & Implement a Peer Coaching Program. You will click on the comments link to add to this blog. You will need to create a Google account to be able to post comments to this blog. Follow these steps:
  1. Go to Google.com
  2. In the search bar just type Blogger.
  3. Google will take you through a series of steps to create an account with Google.
  4. If you already have an email with Google (Gmail), just use that or you may use your school email for updates.
  5. You do not have to create a blog to use Blogger...just need a Google account.
  6. When you post a comment you will need to log in with your Google User ID.
  7. If you click on the comment link below this post, you will see that Mrs. Hughes has left a comment. The comment includes her Google ID (Mrs. Hughes).
  8. If you do not understand how to do this, you may contact Mrs. Hughes through her school email. She will get in touch with you and talk you through the steps or she can met you at school to help you.
